Til Gajak is a very popular recipe. Learn how to make/prepare Till Gajjak by following this easy recipe. Til ke Gajak Recipe Is A traditional sweet made of sesame seeds and condensed milk.

Preparation Time : 10 mins

Cooking time : 30 minutes

Servings : Depends

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 cup Water

Method of making Til Gajak recipe:

  1. Heat a pan and roast sesame seeds on low heat.
  2. Keep stirring constantly to avoid it from spluttering.
  3. After roasting, let it cool and then pound them.
  4. Prepare a thick syrup of jaggery by boiling it with 1/2 cup water over low flame.
  5. Take out the roasted sesame from the pan and add it to the syrup.
  6. Spread a thin layer of oil on a rolling board.
  7. Spread the sesame-jaggery mixture over oil film. Press it to 1 cm thickness.
  8. Cool the mixture sufficiently and cut into square pieces.
  9. Til Gajak is ready.
  10. Keep it in an airtight container.

Note:

All the cooking is performed on simmer gas flame. Use a heavy base pan for roasting and cooking jiggery.
